Abstract:This study was conducted to investigate the effects of aromatic, sweetener and flavor enhancer compound feeding attractant (ASF-CFA) and sweetener and flavor enhancer compound feeding attractant (AS-CFA) on growth performance, serum biochemical indexes, nutrient apparent digestibility of weaned piglets. A total of 21 litters 7-day-old healthy piglets with body weight of (2.24±0.42) kg were used in this trial. These piglets were randomly divided into 3 groups (control group, Ⅰ group, Ⅱ group) with 7 replicates. Piglets in the 3 groups were fed a control creep diet, the control creep diet+0.8 kg/t AS-CFA and the control creep diet+2.0 kg/t ASF-CFA during creep stage, respectively. Then, those in the 3 groups were fed a control conservation diet, the control conservation diet+0.8kg/t AS-CFA and the control conservation diet+0.8 kg/t AS-CFA during nursery stage, respectively, and till the end. The experiment lasted for 57 d. The results showed as follows:1) during the creep stage, groups Ⅰand Ⅱ had no significant difference in average daily gain (ADG) and average daily feed intake (ADFI) compared with control group (P>0.05); ether extract apparent digestibility of groupⅡ significantly increased by 8.31% (P<0.05). 2) During the nursery stage, groups Ⅰand Ⅱ had no significant difference in ADG and ADFI compared with control group (P>0.05); leptin and ghrelin contents in serum of groupⅡ had significant differences compared with control group (P<0.05), leptin content significantly reduced by 17.27% (P<0.05) and ghrelin content significantly increased by 15.69% (P<0.05). 3) During the whole stage, ADG of group Ⅱ significantly increased by 10.44% compared with the control group (P<0.05). It is concluded that during creep stage, diets with ASF-CFA is more popular with piglets and has better effect than the control diet and AS-CFA diet. The combination of ASF-CFA and AS-CFA is better than AS-CFA alone when used in piglets during creep stage and nursery stage.
