Abstract:Methylsulfonylmethane is a sulfur-containing organic compound naturally occurring in nature. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-cancer, prevent disease and enhance the body's immunity effects. It is widely used in health care functions and medical applications for the maintenance of human and animal organisms health, plays an important role and has broad application prospects in the healthy breeding of animals. This paper reviews the physicochemical properties, absorption and metabolism, and biological functions and related mechanisms of methylsulfonylmethane, in order to provide reference for its application in animal production.
