Chinese Journal of Animal Nutriton

   A iming at promoting the communication of research in Animal Nutrition and improving animal production with frontier technology, Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition (CJAN) was initiated by Zhen-ying Xu and other precursors of Chinese animal nutrition research in 1989 and published in 1994. Through the development of these years, currently, CJAN has developed into a world scale bimonthly published journal with about 120 pages, 20 articles per issue, which is supervised by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and Sponsored by Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine.
   C oncentration makes profession. CJAN exclusively focuses on the research of animal nutrition and feed science. From mechanism detection to practical industrial technology, most areas of this field have been covered, and our columns include Pig and Poultry Nutrition, Ruminant Nutrition, Fish Nutrition, Molecular Nutrition, Nutritive Value of Feed, Monologue, Brief Report on Research and Reviews. In 2006, we were awarded “the Only National Grade Journal in Field of Animal Nutrition” by CAST. When it comes to 2007, CJAN was classified as the C-class of “Excellent Scientific Journal Project” initiated by CAST, which is the top class for journals in husbandry research.
   Q uality of article is the life of journal has been the belief of CJAN since the very beginning. The reviewer committee is always composed of the most authoritative professors and experts which currently has more than 40 members and led by academician Zi-yi Zhang and emeritus professor and editor-in-chief Yang-lian Feng. Every year, there will be new experts enlisted as the reviewer. Every manuscript submitted to CJAN will experience the review processes of editor, peer-experts and editor-in-chief to determine the acceptance.
   S ince we believe only communication could keep us always updated, we have constructed this open access bilingual website to welcome our readers, authors, experts and any people who have interest in Animal Nutrition Research.
