Abstract

To provide theory background and practical reference for production of dairy cows, the article reviewed the characteristics of fat metabolism changes of dairy cows in transition period, and summarized nutritional strategies for prevention of ketosis of dairy cows during perinatal period.[Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition, 2011, 23(6):924 -929]
