Silica Gel Controlled-Release Butyrate Affects Growth Performance and Intestinal Mucosal Barrier in Weaned Piglets

摘要

本试验以硅胶为控释载体,制备和表征了硅胶控释型丁酸(SG-B),并以丁酸钠为对照,旨在研究SG-B对断奶仔猪生长性能和肠黏膜屏障的影响。选用平均体重为(5.8±0.2) kg的54头21日龄"杜×长×大"断奶仔猪,按胎次一致、体重相近的原则随机分为3组:1)对照组,饲喂基础饲粮;2)丁酸钠组,饲喂基础饲粮+0.10%丁酸钠(丁酸含量为0.078%);3)SG-B组,饲喂基础饲粮+0.19% SG-B(丁酸含量为0.078%),每组3个重复,每个重复6头仔猪,公母各占1/2。试验期10 d。结果表明:1)采用室温过量浸渍法制备和表征SG-B,热重分析表明丁酸负载量为41.1%;2)和对照组相比,SG-B组显著提高了断奶仔猪的平均日增重(P<0.05),显著降低了料重比和腹泻率(P<0.05);3)SG-B组血浆D-乳酸浓度和二胺氧化酶活性显著低于对照组(P<0.05),和丁酸钠组相比,差异不显著(P>0.05);4)SG-B组十二指肠、空肠、回肠绒毛高度和绒毛高度与隐窝深度比值显著高于对照组(P<0.05),十二指肠和回肠隐窝深度显著低于对照组(P<0.05)。结果提示,饲粮中添加0.19% SG-B能降低断奶仔猪腹泻率,提高生长性能,保护肠黏膜屏障。

Abstract

This experiment was conducted to study the effects of silica gel controlled-release butyrate (SG-B) on growth performance and intestinal mucosal barrier in weaned piglets. SG-B was synthesized and characterized. A total of 54 piglets (Duroc × Landrace × Yorkshire) with an average body weight of (5.8±0.2) kg were weaned at 21 d, and randomly allocated into 3 groups: control group (basal diet), sodium butyrate group (basal diet + 0.10% sodium butyrate), and SG-B group (basal diet + 0.19% SG-B), with 3 replicates in each group and 6 piglets per replicate. The experiment lasted for 10 days. The results showed as follows: 1) the butyrate content was 41.1% in the SG-B. 2) The average daily gain of the SG-B group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the feed/gain and diarrhea rate of the SG-B group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). 3) D-lactate concentration and diamine oxidase activity in plasma of the SG-B group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference between the SG-B group and sodium butyrate group (P>0.05). 4) The villus height and villus height/crypt depth in the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum of the SG-B group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05), and the crypt depth in the duodenum and ileum was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The results indicate that supplementation with 0.19% SG-B can improve growth performance, decrease diarrhea rate and protect intestinal mucosal barrier.
