Abstract

The relationship between microbiota and the health of udder has been traditionally viewed closely to the inflammation responses to mastitis. Recently, with the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, the microbiota community and functions has been widely and deeply studied. This review summarized current understanding of the different site of the udder and immunity regulation response to the udder healthy, aimed to better understanding of the effect of microbiome on the mammary tissues and cow physiology, which provide an exciting opportunity for investigating the treatment and prevention mastitis.
