Fermented Liquid Feed: Effects on Weaner Piglet Intestinal Health

Abstract

Fermented liquid feed contains a number of various kinds of probiotics and their metabolites, and they can improve the digestive properties of feed, provide the acidic environment for the gastrointestinal tract of weaner piglets, adjust the balance of the intestinal flora, increase the immunity of the intestinal mucosal immune system, and promote the intestinal health, so as to enhance growth performance of weaner piglets.
