Abstract

Hypothalamic orexin are known to regulate sleep/wake, feeding behavior, emotions, autonomic nerve activity, and whole-body glucose metabolism. This review mainly discussed the mian roles of orexin in glucose metabolism balance, and the action model and molecular mechanism in glucose metabolism.
