Abstract

Probiotics are assimilated by platycytes (M cells) after entering the intestine, and then they are handed in macrophages. Probiotics can regulate the immune response of macrophages and the system immunity of body. This article mainly reviewed the research advances in the immunomodulation effect of probiotics on macrophage and its possible mechanisms.
