Abstract

Polyamine is a kind of low molecular weight aliphatic compounds with two or more aminos, including putrescine, spermidine, spermine and etc. Polyamines are found in almost all living species and present important impacts on growth and development in animals. This paper reviewed the regulating roles of polyamines in conceptus development of mammals, including pristine zygote development, embryo nidation, placentation, and fetus development.
