Abstract

Since taste receptors have been discovered, people have strong interest in them and also increase the strength and depth of their research. Therefore, people begin to deeply understand the taste sensing of mammalian including the molecular basis of taste perception process and function, etc. This not only has a great significance for the diet control of people and animals, but also can provide new methods and ideas for the treatment of certain diseases. To deepen our understanding of molecular basis of taste receptors and taste perception process, this paper reviews the related research results and can provide important reference for nutritional balance and health keeping of mammals.
