Abstract

Yeast preparation is helpful to balance rumen ecology, promote digestive organ development and improve immunity of ruminants. Calves is in a special physiological stage of microecosystem establishment, rumen structure development and perfect immune system, and yeast preparation helps improve growth performance of calves. Based on summarizing the predecessors' research results, effects of yeast preparation on rumen development and immunity of calves were reviewed, for the purpose of providing theoretical references for follow-up research works and production practice.
