Abstract

In the process of animal husbandry production, reproductive failure, low survival rate and high incidence of young animals, and the decline in quality of animal products are all related to oxidation stress. Oxidative stress has become a hot topic in animal health and nutrition research. This article reviewed the source of oxygen free radicals in gut, the mechanism of intestinal epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation induced by oxygen free radicals and oxidative stress in pig production.
