Abstract

There is a large number of microorganisms in the rumen, which play an important role in the digestion of ruminants. Recently, studies have found that the rumen microbial flora was influenced by many factors such as diet and external environment. Based on these factors, the rumen microbial flora can be regulated to improve the ruminal utilization rate of diets and promote the performance. In order to provide references for the regulation of rumen microbial flora in beef and dairy cow study, this paper summarized the composition and influencing factors of rumen microbial flora, and emphatically introduced the application of rumen microbial flora regulation in cattle industry.
