Abstract

The high incidence of digestive and metabolic diseases in dairy cows during the transition period has become one of the important factors restricting the healthy feeding of dairy cows in China. The article reviewed the glucose-lipid metabolism and gastrointestinal health of the transition dairy cows, elaborated on the challenges and molecular mechanisms of the glucose-lipid metabolism of dairy cows during the transition period, summarized the alteration of the gastrointestinal tract function and bacteria community of dairy cows during the transition period, gave the directions of nutritional regulation and provided theoretical reference for healthy feeding of the transition dairy cows in China.
