Abstract

Broiler industry is very important in our country. Lactic acid bacteria, belonging to probiotics, are more and more adopted in the production of broilers, serving as the effective substitute of antibiotics. The quality of bone relates closely with animal welfare, production efficiency and economic benefits. However, attentions are always paid to the meat quality of broilers. And the concern about bone quality of broilers is not enough. Meanwhile, very few attentions are paid to the effects of probiotic lactic acid bacteria on bone quality. Therefore, the effects of probiotic lactic acid bacteria on broilers' bone quality and their regulatory mechanism were detailed in this paper as well as the growth mechanism and significance of bone. And the better application of probiotic lactic acid bacteria in broilers production are expected.
